More Invited Speakers
It is our pleasure to announce you two more Invited Speakers who have already confirmed their attendance!
Prof. Katharina Landfester coming from Max Planck Institute (Mainz, Germany) is one of them. Her broad research interests range from polymerization in miniemulsion, structure formation in nanoconfinements, characterization of physical properties in droplets, enzymatic reactions in heterophase, encapsulation of hydrophilic and hydrophobic components in nanocapsules, synthesis and characterization of functionalized nanoparticles/-capsules to uptake of nanoparticles in different cells and in vivo application. In the IPCG 2017 conference her talk will be about “Hybrid Nanoparticles for Emerging Applications”.
Prof. To Ngai coming from CHUK Hong-Kong (Hong-Kong, China) is the second speaker we want to announce you in this post. His main research interests are deboted to colloids, interfaces and soft materials. His group is currently focused on:
Design, preparation and application of particle-stabilized emulsions (Pickering emulsions)
Measuring the interaction between functionalized surfaces
Microrehology of soft and biomaterials
Development of orthopaedic implant biomaterials
His talk will be entitled “Colloidal Particles at the Interfaces: From Fundamentals to Functional Materials”.
