Last Invited Speakers
Today we are announcing the last three Invited Speakers of the IPCG 2017. Hope that these three talks will make the program even more appealing.
The first speaker is coming from Japan, Prof. Masayoshi Okubo. Currently, he is Distinguished Professor in the Institute of Advanced Materials of Nanjing Tech University (China). His main research areas are:
Radical Polymerization in Aqueous and Supercritical CO2 Dispersed Systems
Controlled/Living Radical Polymerization in Aqueous and Supercritical CO2 Dispersed Systems
Synthesis of Functional Polymer Particles (Hollow Particles, Nonspherical Particles, Microcapsule Particles, etc) and their Applications
He will talk about "Synthesis of High Performance Heat Storage Microcapsules by Controlled/Living Radical Polymerization in Aqueous Dispersed Systems".
Prof. Jan Vermant coming from ETH Zurich (Switzerland) is our second lecturer. His research interests relate to soft materials and have as a common theme understanding and exploiting the link between the unique microstructures that develop in these materials and their (often highly non-linear) properties. Materials classes belonging to soft matter range from polymers, colloids over surfactive active components and mixtures thereof. The lecture that he will give will be entitled “Engineering liquid-liquid interfaces with polymer colloids".
Our third speaker is Prof. Jean Baptiste Salmon-Exterieur coming from CNRS-Solvay-Université de Bordeaux (France). His fields of interest are:
Microfluidics and related instrumentation
Soft condensed matter
Prof. Salmon-Exterieur lecture will be devoted to "Drying dynamics of confined drops of complex fluids".
